
Dr. Dillon D. Balkin, DC
Dr. Balkin was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland. He graduated from Wootton high school and later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at The University of Maryland. Dr. Balkin finished his education at Palmer College with a Doctoral degree in Chiropractic and a focus in sport injury rehabilitation. Dr. Balkin has an extensive history and passion for treating athletes and non-athletes of all ages.
Dr. Balkin believes that proper movement is the key to a healthy and happy life. He uses his training to identify and correct faulty biomechanics that contribute to pain. Dr. Balkin and his team create a personalized rehabilitation program for each patient and provide them with the tools to continue their progress long after their care concludes.
Dr. Balkin in board certified and licensed by the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Balkin is also certified in selective functional movement assessment (SFMA), active release technique (ART), instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and kinesiology taping.
In addition to Chiropractic, Dr. Balkin provides his patients with guidance in movement, nutrition, stress management and office ergonomics.
Dr. Balkin currently lives in Gaithersburg, MD with his wife Kayla and his two mini-goldendoodles Cody and Cleo. He enjoys exercising, playing sports, traveling, spending time with his family and watching the Washington Commanders, Washington Capitals, Washington Nationals and Maryland Terrapins.
